ACET International Alliance is run entirely on a voluntary basis, with zero central administrative costs, so all donations are directly converted into the currency needed for projects with no overhead deductions of any kind. Because projects very largely use national leadership and staff, in-country salary and running costs are often far lower than you might expect.


Each programme is run mainly or entirely by nationals from the same country and culture, and is an independent organisation, working in partnership with other voluntary agencies and local churches

Many of those in the poorest nations manage to live on less than £2 a day, and a very small amount of foreign currency (£, EU, $) can buy a huge amount of food, labour and local products. That's why it's so easy to make a huge difference if you work somewhere like the UK, and give to somewhere like Zimbabwe.

A gift of £60 / $110 plus tax relief is enough to fund a full-time schools worker in Ukraine for a month, or will help support 6 vulnerable orphans in Zimbabwe for a year, or will pay for 30 potential project leaders in Africa or Asia to receive resource packs containing all information they need to start new programmes in their own areas, using their own people and existing organisations.

No money will be taken out for general administration, fund-raising or any other UK-based activity.
