Tumaini Children’s Home is an orphanage run by Pastor Nicholas and his wife, Sister Maria, for 72 children. ‘Tumaini’ is the Swahili for ‘hope’ and that is what this home really gives for children from a nearby slum area of Kakira near Jinja. FAU is supporting Tumaini Children's Home by providing funds for food and for improving the showers and toilet block.
