ACET Uganda, through the help of FAU, has been able to purchase a new plot of land near to the old site and a new school has been built in partnership with Rianna's Fund and other sponsors.

Sep 2009: The resource centre at the school nears completion.

July 2009: Construction has started on a resource centre at the school. This will be used by children for projects and by staff too:

ACET Uganda continues to care for the health of the children at the school and has provided mosquito nets to be distributed:

April 2009: Nakulabye Junior holds a parent/teacher meeting at the school.
November 2008: One of the Friends of ACET Uganda executive visited the new school. This picture shows the staff room on the left and the classrooms for the youngest children are on the right.

September 2008: Friends of ACET Uganda would like to raise a further £10,000 to complete the school. Robert Mortimer, convener of FAU, says:
"I believe we have much for which to give thanks to God. It is amazing and wonderful that the Friends of ACET Uganda, together with Rianna's Fund, have been able to provide enough funds for the rebuilding of Nakulabye Junior School which is nearly completed. We are launching our final push to raise £10,000 for the admin block in addition to some essential work on the school grounds and some more fencing The new school buildings give real hope for the future of the children at the school. It has been a privilege to be a part of all this and on behalf of the Executive at FAU I would like to thank all the individuals, schools, churches and organisations who have contributed"
June 2008 - A fence is put up to safeguard the school
3rd March 2008 - The school starts to use the new site.
"I am happy to report that today we have moved to the new site! The vision has become a reality. This is a milestone in the history of Nakulabye community." Zimbe Moses, headmaster.
29th Feb 08: The classrooms nearly finished:

A drainage ditch that crossed the land has had to be re-constructed before works starts on the buildings.
