1000s of free AIDS books to help train project workers in Nigeria

ACET Nigeria has formed a new partnership which will see thousands more AIDS training books reaching leaders and communities throughout the country - part of ACET's free distribution of over 350,000 books in 23 languages, to help mobilise communities and nations.

Up to 3,000 books per month, including 'AIDS Action' and 'The Truth about AIDS', are being distributed free through ACET Nigeria and Africa Christian Text Books (ACTS).

The books, written by ACET founder Dr Patrick Dixon, are designed to help local leaders involved in HIV and AIDS work by providing information about the infection and ideas for effective care, education and training programmes.  There are translations in over 20 languages, including Hausa, widely spoken in Nigeria, whilst a completely new edition of 'AIDS and You' is planned shortly.
