As many of you know we have been involved in the care and support of those orphaned by AIDS in and around Bulawayo for a number of years. With the political and economic situation in Zimbabwe still deteriorating this work has become ever more important. Transport for the project remains vital as much of the food and supplies now have to be brought in from neighbouring countries.
Unfortunately the vehicle used by ACET Zimbabwe has had an accident and whilst nobody was seriously hurt it cannot be repaired. We have managed to recover some money from insurance and contingency reserves but we now urgently need £10,000 to replace the vehicle to continue the work.
