In the Czech Republic ACET, led by Frantisek Krampota, offers health education focused on young people - those most at risk from unplanned pregnancy, HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases. This project works in partnership with the Czech Ministry of Health and Ministry of Education. In 2008, ACET visited nearly 850 schools and spoke to over 70,000 students.  In total, since 1994, 868,000 Czech students have heard ACET volunteers.

ET trainers are also being called on by government and other organisations to support their prevention work and demand from schools keeps on growing as the country realises the threat from HIV and AIDS.

Many young people have also come to know Jesus as a result of the work.  This is a letter from a student, Hanka:

"Dear Frantisek,

I do not know whether you remember me? I am that tiny girl, who heard your lecture 2 years ago. After that I started to be interested in Christianity and God. I just want to thank you. If I did not meet you, I would not be able to kick myself to God.

After six months I started visiting the church, I changed a lot. My foundation was absolutely redone.

In spite of the fact, that I do not talk about Jesus much, I can feel Him from time to time. I have sometimes ups and downs, when I say - well, I should give everything up, because this world is not for me, but it is not true. God is strong in crises. My life without Him is meaningless. He became my centre. And I know, the door behind me is shut down, I can't get back, the old Hanka cannot live anymore.

(and two weeks later):

I finally converted, I met the living God. You can't believe, how joyful I am. He heard my prayers. I felt I need some change, and I do not why I asked Him to do it during the Easter. Within 10 minutes my life changed. It got a direction and a solid target. When the preacher invited us to celebrate the communion, I finally could say - Lord, I confirm my dedication and am happy to receive... I am happy to belong to Jesus."
