zimbabwemapACET Zimbabwe, led by Godfrey Mhlanga, works to bring hope to those infected and affected by HIV and AIDs in this country where economic meltdown has made the plight of those on the margins of society so much worse.

Through the Matilda Project, ACET Zimbabwe volunteers offer support to over 2,500 orphans in and around Bulawayo, including a regular breakfast and support with school fees.  Other projects include home based care and encouragement of church congregations to get involved in their communities where many are HIV positive.

Thanks to ACET supporters the project has been able to replace its vehicle after the last one was written off in a crash in 2008.  The vehicle is heavily used in food distribution and taking people from rural areas to hospital to receive treatment.  Each trip costs about $50 to cover fuel costs and if you felt able to support this work to save lives, please donate here.
